We’re pregnant with #2! My denial ended this past Friday when we went in for our first ultrasound. We saw our thirteen week old little one dancing around in my belly and sucking his/her?? thumb. This whole pregnancy thing is amazing. It’s easy to forget among all the gaggy first trimester stuff that there’s a real live baby in there! And apparently it’s no less mind blowing the second time around.
The official word is that this little nugget is scheduled to arrive July 21st. So, Miss Francis and the new kid in town might end up sharing a birthday (Francis’s birthday is July 15). Not ideal, but nothing that an annual birthday week extravaganza can’t cure.
