She’s growing up.

.

She’s finally sleeping in her “big girl bed” which means lucky pants Georgie FINALLY gets to sleep in a real crib. The “Pack n’ Play” portable crib is officially retiring and if George later complains of back pain I’m counting on all of you to keep your mouths shut. “Of course you didn’t sleep in a portable crib for six months, Sweetie… that’s ridiculous.”

Yesterday I took some photos of Francis and went upstairs to download them off of my camera. When I returned downstairs, Francis was sitting on the couch, holding a giant tub of pretzels in her arms and was watching cartoons. Surprised to see the obscene “tub o’ pretzels’ in her arms at 7:45am and wondering how she got them, I said “Francis, wow… whatcha got there?” She responded matter-a-factly, “I eating pretzels.” I then added “Did you get those out of the kitchen by yourself?” and she responded proudly with a funny little grin on her face, “Yes, I a sneaky girl.”

Kristen - I'd love to hear her talking. Record some of it sometime and post it on vimeo. I'd eat it up over and over and over . . .
