A fever, runny nose and coughing…and to top it off, for the first time in his life, he fell asleep at the table while eating his lunch.
      Me: Sam I can’t find my keys anywhere! I think we’re gonna be stuck here.
At least he fessed up. It would have taken me months to find those.

what a toot! I came across these photos of George tonight from our move to Amarillo in 2008. He’s about Sam’s age (2.5) and I just can’t get over how adorable he is. I remember that green Beattles shirt well. We would ask,” Where’s George?” and he would point to George Harrison and giggle. Moments like this are so precious. It makes me so thankful for the photos I have of my kids. I wish I could snap my fingers and kiss that little Georgie cheek. Sigh.

Why is it so sad to look at old pictures? But it does always make me treasure the here and now more… love these pics!

he looks so *sniff* LITTLE! Turning is not just for wood. You can also put chunks of acrylic on the lathe. A few minutes with a roughing gouge and a few more with various grits of wet-sanding, and it has a nice glassy finish. When my mom and sister were looking for gift ideas at christmas, I made a bunch of razors with kits from woodcraft .
